Homemade Icepacks. This is so cool - you use plain Dawn....it doesn't freeze totally solid but like those gel packs you can buy where you contour them to your body. So neat!

How to create a ringtone using songs, step by step. {I found this a bit harder than it actually is. I use Win 7 on a PC.} Here is how I did it: Right click the song in iTunes. Get Info >Options. Type in the start and stop time. (make sure both are checked.) Click OK. Right click the same song and choose Create AAC Version. The new CLIP will appear under that song. Right click the CLIP and choose "show in windows explorer". The song will be highlighted in a new window. RIght click > Copy. Click in the white space and right click Paste. RIght click that one (already highlighted) and change the name if you like and change to .m4r extension. A pop up box will say "If you change the file extension...." >YES {It's fine!}. Now just drag that CLIP to TONES in the iTunes Library at the top of your iTunes list. You are now ready to sync it to your phone. One last thing.... be sure to go back to your iTunes list and remove the CLIP that you made... otherwise it plays in your playlist. AND, go back the the song INFO and uncheck the start & stop - or your song will ONLY play that part. You are done.
Take their wedding invitation, cut into strips and placed in a glass ball. Give to newlywed couple for their first Christmas. Would work for baby showers and other things too.

This woman has a journal for each of her children, filled with letters to the child and thoughts about them. She started each one the day they found out they were having the child. Gave them when the kids moved out. So sweet and sentimental.
