"...an ugly old T-shirt taking up space in your drawer can become something much, much better with a good-quality pair of scissors and a little ingenuity. You can cut new necks or sleeves and holes in strategic places, do lacing or ties.

Cardboard box prevents overspray Prevent paint “overspray”with this clever spray booth made from a cardboard box. Cut a hole in the top of the box. Cover the opening with plastic wrap and position a shop light above to illuminate your project. You can use coat hangers, poked through the cardboard, to hold and rotate the objects as you’re painting them. Not only will your shop be neater, but your paint projects will now be thumbprint free.
This is a great note to self, use avacado skin to dye fabrics a dusky beige-pink!!!

\ \ \ \ \ THE RECIPE / / / / / MAKING AN INDIGO VAT \ \ \ \ \/ / / / / Here is the indigo vat recipe that the original pinner has been working with written by Earth Hues. She says ..... "They are a wonderful company supporting agriculture, natural color and artisans around the world. I order my pigment from them and every time I order, I ask where the pigment is from. Most of the time the pigment has been from El Salvador. This is the recipe they provide and it's fantastic! Everything you need is at Earth Hues except Lye - you will have to order that through Amazon. Other supplies can be found at a hardware or baking supply store. I find everything I need at Grocery Warehouse on Sunset Blvd. Enjoy!"
