'Backyard Treasures', Nuno felted with 70% silk & 30% merino blend on cotton gauze. Naturally dyed with eucalyptus leaves, onion skins and rust. Album page and postcard pictures printed on organza and hand sewn. Made for the Melbourne Scarf Festival Exhibition at the National Wool Museum in Geelong. This year's theme is The Journey - a textile exploration of what it means to us to travel. I remember the treasures of my own backyard. Beautiful!
