Maria Hancock I just more at face value I guess. Harry's eyes were green like his mother's a rare color but reflective of her being a red head possibly Irish & Voldemort's were snake like. Even in Chamber of secrets they talk about the serpents eyes but I think Moaning Mrtyle says their yellow.

Tracy Cook-Jorgensen I always noticed the color of the spells because in most movies bad guys have red and good guys are green and in HP it was backwards. Not sure if the eye color has anything to do with it since Lily's were also green,but it is a cool thought.

claudia Actually, I wouldn't be pissy. I would end the conversation when I saw that it was going nowhere. I think a lot of what gets said over the internet is misconstrued. You said in one of your above comments that you "don't care" what I think, and honestly, I don't really care what you think either. claudia @Jil he made a conscious choice to be a bully and a death eater. Harry was abused by the Dursleys, but he made a choice not to be a bully. As Dumbledore said "It is our choices Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

For example, in DHp2, do you remember when Draco hesitated to join Voldemort and the Death Eaters? I don't think he would have joined them if it weren't for his father. Maybe I'm wrong. claudia @Kristen Brown when Harry's aunt revealed that she knew what Azkaban was, Harry thought she meant his father when she called Snape "that awful boy" in Order of the Phoenix (the top one) then we find out in the bottom quote that she was talking about Shape, not James.

Elizabeth Davis My mom made that observation after reading thr fifth book. It doesnt make him less evil, but it does make it tragic, his evil is dervived from a void in his life. I was glad when, in the movie, Harry was able to make this observation. And even sympathize.

This is every frame of the Harry Potter movies, condensed into a barcode. Interesting to see the choice of color palettes for each film! Look at how it starts off with reds and oranges and purples and then it gets steadily darker towards the end. Then there is that strip of white at the end which has to be the king’s cross scene! o-o

If someone is following this board it's their own fault for seeing spoilers. I can't be held responsible for pinning "spoilers" anymore. Not when a lot of time has gone by.

The day that Harry finally defeated Voldemort. We remember everyone who fought in the war and all those who died. Fred Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Colin Creevey, Severus Snape and more. Jenn Baldwin I can think of one, sadly. Movie was Silver Bullet, book was Cycle of the Werewolf. Silver Bullet is oneof my favorite movies from when I was way-too-young, so I was excited to find out it came from a book. And the book was not as good.
