I was 12 when I got my first pair & they were pink. I got my step-daughter a fuchsia pair (she was 6) , now she is turning 7 in a week & they no longer fit :( (we shop thrift & upcycle). If I have a daughter of my own I shall make these, even if they end up being off brand or 2nd hand.
