Keep the mess in the towel then throw the towel in the laundry when you get home from your trip. Looks easy to make with a simple handtowel, plus possibly add loops at the top to hang somewhere if away for a while.

Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutess. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film.

This is great for down the road... Toys that are not picked up go in the ransom box and they have to pick a chore to complete to earn it back! A great lesson in personal responsibility. This idea if brilliant! I love it.
Baby or toddler food! Puree sweet potatoes. Then add spinach, zucchini, one banana, 3 eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon and oats. Bake it up like pancakes. For your baby, break into small bite sizes. Toddlers can eat them whole.

Give pretty spice or candy containers a new life in seconds by turning them into refrigerator magnets. Place a small, powerful magnet inside the back of an empty tin, which makes the tin itself magnetic. (Nonmetallic containers will work if you stick an adhesive magnet on the outside.)

Most recipes call for only a small portion of tomato paste -- you use a tablespoon or two, and the rest invariably goes to waste. To save the remainder: Carefully open both ends of the can with a can opener. Remove one metal end, and discard it. Leave the other in place.
