My past abuse and beginning of therapy. There is some overlap with the other board about therapy. Phrases, words and pictures related to psychotherapy either personal or general. I have been in therapy for many years. I am also planning to apply to a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology...yes, even at my age!! Specific issues and diagnoses are on the boards for Depression & Suicide, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and Feelings/Thoughts which are all on the boards near the top. Near the bottom of the page are boards that are specific to Self Injury, Eating Disorders and Sexual Abuse. Please take a look at the Mental Health Videos, at the top of the page, they are quite interesting and informative. Some of the videos only show the description and the play symbol, but if you click on the play symbol it will play the video. Also, check out the videos at the top of the page for information on other diagnoses and symptoms.

One day in my therapist's office he had this coffee cup. (not the one in the picture. He is neater than that) I thought, "that is true it is not inevitable and what a profound statement about being a mother for it is from chaos that she helps her child to grow." My therapist said, "your mother took beauty and created chaos." Makes me sad and tearful, but he is right.
