Before Prop 8, before Pride parades, before PFLAG, there was Stonewall. On June 27, 1969, a police raid on the Stonewall Inn in New York City sparked a rebellion by patrons who just weren't going to take it anymore. The riots went on for six more days and from that unrest, the modern gay rights movement as born. Hear eyewitness accounts of what really happened, from some of the men who were there. Were it not for their scene, there might not be an OURscene. We salute all the Stonewall veterans!

George Clooney on the Original E/R Sitcom. Most people know George Clooney from the drama "ER" but he was also in a sitcom of a similar name from 1984-1985. He played the smooth talking, wise cracking EMT Mark "Ace" Kolmar. Also featured in this clip is Martha Quinn of MTV and Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame. Does anyone remember this sho. I loved it

"King Tut" is a novelty song performed by Steve Martin and the Toot Uncommons (actually members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band). It was released as a single in 1978, sold over a million copies. Martin previewed the song in a live performance during the April 22, 1978 episode of Saturday Night Live. The song was also included on Martin's album A Wild and Crazy Guy. "King Tut" paid homage to Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun and presents a caricature of the sensational Treasures of Tutankhamun traveling exhibit that toured seven United States cities from 1976 to 1979. The exhibit attracted approximately eight million visitors. In the Saturday Night Live performance of "King Tut," loyal subjects appease a joyful King Tut with kitchen appliances. An instrumental solo is delivered by saxophone player Lou Marini, who steps out of a sarcophagus to great laughter.
