I would love to get my hands on a Nimslo 3D camera.

Remember Lytro's promise to produce a light-field camera that captures all the light information in a scene so you can choose any focal distance you want on a computer LONG AFTER THE SHOT WAS TAKEN? Well they're selling them now.

"First released in 1995, the original 20/20 nearfield studio monitor revolutionised the recording industry and secured itself a place in the hearts of audio engineers the world over for its truthful reproduction and outstanding sonic character."

Australian-made microphones. I know nothing about them, but they just look glorious. This is where my aesthetic-over-function weakness comes into play.

Another vocal recording mic. The KSM42. I read a glowing review about this dude in TapeOp magazine... comes with that the reviewer referred to as "one of the coolest-in-real-life-accessories, a magnetically-mounted low-profile Popper Stopper."

Want this MIDI controller, too, but I'm sure I could find something cheaper...
I want to play with a hydrophone (put that dude in a bathtub and go to town!). Who has one? @Jared Mooney?

Jared Mooney I don't have one. I've used them though and they are cool for sure. Especially for sound design.
Valerie George built a recording studio inside her 1983 Mercedes wagon.

Bock 241 vocal mic. Old school sound. I want Emerson to purchase one of these puppies so I can play with it.
How beautiful is this? The Telefunken Elektroakustik CU-29 Copperhead. "Meticulously handcrafted in the USA." I need $1200.00.
Apogee's Duet 2. A cool little device for recording on the go. I prefer my Tascam DR-100 because it has XLR inputs, but this little gem is classy.
Audio-Technica's ATH-M50 studio monitor headphones. I am really happy with my Beyerdynamic set, but these might need to be purchased as soon as those crap out (if ever).

Neumann U47. Tilted back vertically. Kearney Barton's favorite for vocals. (Kearney Barton is a Seattle-based super old recording engineer who uses all analog/tube stuff. No Pro Tools whatsoever. An inspiration!)

I can't decide if upgrading to Pro Tools 9 is worth the $800.00 clams.

This is sexy and terrifying. All at the same time. (Jack Joseph Puig with the Focusrite Forte Console and mountains of outboard in Ocean Way Studio A.)

The Manley Reference Gold. A large diaphragm tube mic with stunning character, aurally and aesthetically.
I really want some surround sound headphones. I want to do some surround sound art projects, but I don't have the means (unless I stay at Emerson for days and days). Can someone lend me $1300.00?
And I want this, too. Hard to justify the $1,200.00 when I just make random ditties, but hey. If any rich sound art fan wants to donate to my cause...
AKG 414. Be mine.

This is overwhelming. I'd only be able to use half of it. From @Jared Mooney: Console of my dreams. API 1608 with 32-channel expansion. This one is at Yellow Dog in Austin. They also have a C.L.A.S.P. Jealousy.
The bright green live room at Jackpot! Recording in Portland. @Jared Mooney's got taste, folks.
