How to Make It: 1. Fill any nicks in the door with wood filler. 2. Lightly sand each door to rough up the entire surface. For already-finished cabinetry, use a bonding primer to ensure new paint will stick. 3. Paint the door. 4. Position stainless-steel rods evenly across the door. 5. Nail small staples over one end of each rod. 6. Seal veneer and cut into strips. 7. Wave strips over and under the rods. 8. Tack down each rod's loose end. 9. Using wood adhesive, glue the ends of the veneer strips in place. 10. Cover ends with small wood scraps and clamp until dry. Remove the clamp. 11. Add hardware if desired.

Polished Projection from the Jamie Beckwith Collection has a gloss finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The sheen catches the light, and subtly reveals the grain pattern in the blocks.
