Erin Misegades I've read The Uglies series, the first book in the Graceling series, and all of the Percy Jackson series. Graceling just wasn't my thing, but a lot of people love it. I enjoyed Uglies, and I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series. The PJ series seems like the one on this list that doesn't quite fit the "dystopian kids try to overcome" theme. I enjoy these types of books, but if I read too many dystopia series in a row they all sort of blend together.
