Caro Mouffette I just taught myself this week how to do shirring using elastic thread on my sewing machine and it was so easy I can't believe I waited so long! There are good tutorials on YouTube, but essentially you hand wind elastic thread onto your bobbin and use regular thread on top, and after sewing you give it a shot of steam an the shirring gathers up beautifully like a commercially made sundress.
Fabric Easter Eggs :). How fantastic for the little ones to find, and even better that they won't go bad if they are not found!
