Rather than on the counter top, you could coral all of the items in the silverware holder & simply place it in a cabinet when not using it...then you have just one thing to bring out instead of each item individually...& you won't clutter your counter top!

Wish I'd know this before we cleaned out the garden. ~The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. SO COOL!
