It was a solo project and the conceptional work, the creation and the implementation of the animation took about three months.
Conveniently built in two old suitcases, Melvin the Mini Machine is a Rube Goldberg machine specifically designed to travel the world. Each time Melvin fully completes a run, he ‘signs’ a postcard and sticks a stamp to it - making it ready to be sent. Like its bigger brother, Melvin the Mini Machine also has an online non-physical side which he uses to connect to the people he meets. To keep things truly mobile Melvin uses a smartphone for his online identity.

Opened in the early 1920s, the Asylum closed down and was abandoned decades ago. Rooms remain untouched – left as they were when the last of the employees departed. These buildings stand as a testament to the horrors and miss treatment that patients had to endure during the time of its operation.

NORTH * by GotSurf.ca. Quiksilver USA team members Balaram Stack & Chase Wilson joined up with Tofino B.C's Raph Bruhwiler for a pretty solid three days of surf. Remote left hand point surf, big chunky tubes, some rights near Tofino, Killer whales. These guys got to see it all in a very short visit. Coming to surf in Tofino and not surfing beach break is a rare experiece not many get to experience unless they come and visit Raph.
