Shana McKibben @Kellie Raines-Hoare - for you!!
Purl Bee receiving blankets. very cool looking. I crocheted the edges on some of Lucy's baby blankets years ago but not sure I have the patience for it now. Molly's design and style sure are pretty though.

Ripleigh Degenhardt These make awesome baby blankets! My grandmother also makes spit up rags like this to match all the blankets! So easy and even easier if you get a skip stitch blade for your cutting wheel.

styrofoam ball garland. Spray paint the balls with floral spray paint and string them together. Would be pricey--I can't believe how much those balls cost. But very cool. Fun for Christmas.

Kayte Ghaffar I thought spray paint melted styrofoam...
Dana Willard the tutorial says Floral Spray Paint. maybe there's something special (or not special :)) in that kind?
Amanda Petersen I found out that you are supposed to use water based, after I had already destroyed 15 balls:(
Maria Menlove You can get styrofoam balls at the dollar store generally, much cheaper!
Brianne Franklin the floral spray is what is actually used on flowers---like when you see blue roses, a lot of times they are sprayed. and it does work just fine on styrofoam.
Shoe box tops wrapped in different fabrics. Cheaper than using canvases.
