ennifer Tee’s sculptures, installations, environments and performances play with mythical elements and create new dialogues that somehow never completely break with older storytelling elements and themes. Lines of thought, inspired by her own life and surrounding, religion, mythology, anthropology, language and travels are brought together in colourful and layered works of art that have their own logic.

suzanne rous: brushstroke that is rapid and unfinished such as a thought that never completely materializes and yet which, in juxtaposition, is active and searching.

Ran Zhang work is mainly dealing with the mere language of painting. As mathematic axioms only solve the logic issues for itself, her interest of making painting is the pure form of painting. It is the texture, shapes (which do not exist in nature) and layers, in terms of constructing inner content that independent from outer reality through mere form of painting.

ROMANTIC CONCEPTUALISM // richard long //ART MADE BY WALKING IN LANDSCAPES. PHOTOGRAPHS OF SCULPTURES MADE ALONG THE WAY //Art about mobility, lightness and freedom. Simple creative acts of walking and marking about place, locality, time, distance and measurement. Works using raw materials and my human scale in the reality of landscapes. The music of stones, paths of shared footmarks, sleeping by the river's roar.

ALEX ROULETTE :: "Fabricated Realism" My current series of paintings depict fabricated American landscapes. The invented landscapes arise from archetypal citations of past and present cultural influences. Placing figures into these landscapes is an attempt to take advantage of the viewer’s natural ability to extrapolate narratives. By creating the paintings using a conjuncture of various photographic references, I continue to explore the distinctions between photographic and painted space.

KAMBUI OLUJIMI :::: I believe in the surreal. The transformation of the mundane into legend, the absurd into custom, and the creation of icons are intrinsic to my work, regardless of medium or genre. I hope for my work to inhabit these spaces where myth is made fact and forgotten. It is where our pennies are turned into wishes and where history is cured. It is in these pockets of transience where I have found myself, at once most at home and most vulnerable.
