...and here is artist Alicia Marin inside one of her book cascades, so you can see how it is structured from the inside.
Spanish artist Alicia Martin takes book art to a new level. Here, they explode out of a building window like a waterfall. More examples at the link....

This is a ceramic vase. Click on the image to read the wonderful post on Slow Love Life about it...
This reminds me of the 80 works in 3 weeks exercise. Dominic Wilcox does "speed creating" to keep his creative juices flowing. Here, he spray painted a long measuring tape white, then made a mini-diary of each day on it.

Batiment is a mirrored installation by artist Leandro Erlich currently on display at Le 104 in Paris as part of their In_Perceptions exhibition. The piece is clever in its simplicity: a massive building facade is constructed on the floor near a towering mirror giving anyone reflected the uncanny appearance of being weightless.

Butterflies Bursting Out of Book - My Modern Metropolis Artist David Kracov was commissioned to create an award to be given in honor of, and named for, the late director of Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl. Called the “Book Of Life,” it was inspired by the extraordinary life of Rabbi Yossi Raichik, a man who saved thousands of children’s lives from the devastating effects of the Chernobyl disaster. The metal sculpture has pages filled with words from those he touched, and also features a flurry of butterflies, each representing the 2,547 children he helped save and give new lives.
It's called an "ephemera clip," a fancy way to hold your papers together. I'm thinking it would work for holding together papers for a collage...
I'm cleaning up and reorganizing my art studio...this will be a nice inspiration for making it work even better. Great photos!
