Rose & Strawberry Cake w/ Crystallized roses from DessertsMagazine.com. This is a great way to make a cake look fancy without having to have traditional decorating skills! Even without the "crystalized" flowers, it would look great.
Make something simple, like a brownie, more special by making it in a different shape
Meringue mushrooms - a fun and interesting garnish or dessert add-on. I've made these and they really aren't hard, and there's a lot of room for error - real mushrooms aren't perfect either! :)

Debra Hautala It's probably like gelatin, you pour the first layer, tilt the glass in the fridge while it sets, then repeat until it's finished. Lots of work.
Neha Mathur It's very easy though...Just fill the glass to 1\3 rd and tilt it in an empty egg tray...let the first layer set...Then pour the second layer and tilt the glass otherside....
