today i thought of an idea - where you put yellow and orange lentils (or daal as they say in India) in an arrangement with candles. this is the only pic i could find that was close to the idea.

Jane Wang Great idea! I was looking at the photos of the back of the house near the firepit and couldn't quite tell whether lanterns could be hung from the trees, but they likely could be hung from the fence.
