Caine's Arcade: A 9 year old boy - who built an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad's used auto part store - is about to have the best day of his life. What an amazing story!

The incredible work by Aparna Rao (I remember my dad telling me about her years ago! so great to finally watch this talk) Artist and TED Fellow Aparna Rao re-imagines the familiar in surprising, often humorous ways. With her collaborator Soren Pors, Rao creates high-tech art installations -- a typewriter that sends emails, a camera that tracks you through the room only to make you invisible on screen -- that put a playful spin on ordinary objects and interactions.

Aisha Chaudhary: Singing in a life boat: Ink conference India 2011: Like Voltaire, she believes a shipwreck gives us an opportunity to sing in the life boats. Little Aisha Chaudhary, the first INK Youth Fellow, teaches us a big lesson even as she is battling a life-threatening medical condition. All of 15, Aisha has taught herself to paint, take pictures, run with her pooch and dance at a cousin's wedding, not just once but twice. Aisha learnt art at the American Embassy School. "You live every moment twice, once in your mind and once when you actually live it," she said to a standing ovation. Fifteen year-old Aisha Chaudhary was born with an immune deficiency disorder and overcame a predicted life expectancy of only one year to have become an accomplished artist today. Despite a serious lung disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis, her persistent optimism, extraordinary maturity in the face of impossible odds, and calm perspective on life's challenges have been an inspiration to many.

He is one big enthu cutlet (my brother) but you will never catch him wearing a safari suit, mother promise! What started out as an exercise in nostalgia for Vikram Bhaskaran, has turned into a repository of rich cultural idiosyncrasies and lingo from South Asia called Samosapedia. With words, phrases and quirky usage examples that typically mix local slang and English, Samosapedia hosts a treasure trove of crowd-sourced entries that connect the past with the present, celebrating the ever-evolving nature of language and culture from this region. Speaking at the INK conference ,Jaipur India 2011

Narayanan Krishnan has dedicated his life to feeding, bathing and taking care of the homeless in India. He makes simple meals daily and drives around the city, stopping to feed the poor. What an amazingly inspirational man.

Brittany H. What an absolutely awesome person. This seriously made me tear up. If only everyone were this kind and giving - we'd live in a much better world. I love how he says "Everybody has got 5.5 liters of blood. I am just a human being. For me everybody the same." Thank you for sharing!

RIP. Steve Jobs :(

Timeline just launched yesterday. I got goose bumps and maybe a few tears to see how awesome this product is. Nostalgia and memory can now be easily accessed and curated with the help of your friends. I'm so thankful to work for such an inspirational company.

A.R Rehman brought india together again with his unbelievable choreography/music of his debut song "Ma Tujhe Salam" (Ma, I salute you - Ma, referring to our mother India). On India's 50th year of Independence. A.R. Rehman has inspired a number of people all over India and so it's only fitting I put him in my pInspiration board.
