One of these for my garage would be sooo nice to have. Seems pretty simple to make, add a coat of spray paint (remember to get the kind made for plastics) organize all the wet stuff you don't want making it's way back into the house.

Recycling Candles. Apparently this works so well scentsy is upset about the post! great tut.. I'm posting it in case scentsy makes them take it down! If you have a scentsy warmer, melt down your old candles, pour them into ice cube trays, freeze for 20 minutes then pop them out and store them away in bags and use in your scentsy (or any other warmer). No wasted candles and in this economy, every little bit helps!

Household silver tarnish remover Here's How: 1. Line the bottom of the sink or glass baking dish with aluminum foil. 2. Fill container with hot water. 3.Add salt (sodium chloride) and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to the water 2 Tablespoons each of baking soda & salt. 4.Place silver items into the container so they touch each other, resting on the foil & watch the tarnish disappear. 5.Leave heavily tarnished items in the solution for 5 minutes or when it appears clean.

De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil! Thanks, Susan Branch!

Tomato Paste Saver: Most recipes call for only a small portion of tomato paste -- you use a tablespoon or two, and the rest invariably goes to waste. To save the remainder: Carefully open both ends of the can with a can opener. Remove one metal end, and discard it. Leave the other in place. Wrap the entire can in plastic wrap, and freeze overnight. The next day, use the metal end to push the frozen paste out the open end. Discard can, tightly rewrap unused portion, and store in freezer up to 3 months, slicing off just as much as you need each time you cook. (found here: www.marthastewart...)

Slip-proof your rug: To give an area rug some traction, flip it over, and apply lines of acrylic-latex caulk every 6 inches or so. Once dry, you can safely put down your rug; the rubbery strips will hold it in place...via Martha.
