What detail! Other Walking Dead dioramas are found at the Denver Post and the Pioneer Press. And I like this one featuring Darrel with his crossbow, although I can’t seem to find the original artist.

If you just can’t get enough Peeps, you can always go ahead and enjoy vanilla marshmallow Peeps lip gloss all year round.

I f**king love science's Profile

FINALIST: “Peepius Maximus” Rivetti had a tiny wire gate he wanted to use for his diorama entry. “I had the gate, and then I had the idea for the lion, then I added a gladiator,” he said. “Then I figured I might as well incorporate a lot of Peeps.” The lions are actually sugar-free chick Peeps with clay bodies. Judges appreciated the gladiator’s shield. “It’s a knob from my kitchen cabinet,” Rivetti told us. “I’ll want that back.” Deb Lindsey / FOR THE WASHINGTON POST

THE WINNER! “OccuPeep D.C.”  Wright has entered the contest for the past three years, and “noticed you have to pay attention to tiny details to become a finalist.” Which is why she added the clay rats — our favorite accessory.

THE WINNER! “OccuPeep D.C.” One of her Peeps wears the familiar “V for Vendetta” mask. Wright spent 20 hours to complete the project. Deb Lindsey / FOR THE WASHINGTON POST

THE WINNER! “OccuPeep D.C.” Our sixth annual Peeps Diorama Contest brought in hundreds upon hundreds of entries. After whittling by a panel of judges and voting by journalists in The Washington Post newsroom, we now have a winner: “OccuPeep D.C.,” created by Cori E. Wright, 38, of Falls Church, Va.
