Inside Apple: "How America's Most Admired--and Secretive--Company Really Works". While I really enjoyed Isaacson's Jobs biography, I thought it was thin on details of operations at present day Apple. Hopefully Lashinsky's forthcoming book will live up to its promise and shed some light. $17 preorder.

Geoff Dudgeon Historical graphic novels are a pretty helpful medium for breaking down complex, parallel plotlines and adding inline comments. I found that the graphic novel edition of the 9/11 Commission Report (http://amzn.to/m8ejbC) was a really helpful companion to the actual report when I was writing on the topic for grad school; sort of like an illustrated table of contents.
