Tissot T Classic Tradition Chronograph: I'm not usually a fan of the busy look of chronographs. This Tissot model, on the other hand, has an elegant, modern simplicity. The various densities of the chrono faces naturally guide your eye to their respective functionality. The minimalist hour markings and off-angle date aperture help as well. Decent deal at $389

Timex originals – Weekender Central Park silver watch black face with grey strap. It doesn't enhance legibility (for telling time), but I think the red hand is a cool choice.

Kevin Kamel Most people don't know that these are only available as a "wind up" watch - i.e. they are not automatics. That is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. They did make a newer version of this watch as an automatic in recent years, but the watch is actually smaller and is more of a lady's size
John Beck McConnico Kevin, Omega actually did release a 40th Anniversary edition of the Speedmaster in 2009 (with automatic movt). The case size was 42mm, as was the original 1969 model.
