Laurie Buffett Kearns love letter, thank you letters - remember bread and butter letters?
Wanda Turner Everyone should wright letters, thank notes and just thinking about notes to people.
Carmela Molluzzo McMahon Remember "Pen-Pals"? I love to write and receive letters. I think I'll go write one right now. Laurie? What are bread and butter letters?
Lori Marin Write! Good luck.
Laurie Buffett Kearns A Bread and Butter note is a thank note to your hostess for hospitality in their home. I believe my grandmother and mother mostly wrote them for an overnight stay, perhaps because we lived far away from each other and hospitality always involved an overnight stay.

Emily Thayer My only problem is I don't need enough envelopes to do this! I use them rarely, and have tons already.
Sandy Rich Is there instructions how to do this? I can not seem to find them.
Erin Dollar Sorry, no instructions. We'll just have to experiment. Luckily, I have a ton of junk mail to practice on :)

Maria Riley always write my thank yous in cards..sad to say this is becoming obsolete?? but this means so much to me...you're so right J. Murphy
Kay Brightwell To compose a note for someone and to receive one, there is a tangible connection with the other person. It may take a few days to receive these words, but how exciting it is to read heartfelt thoughts from another. Yes, a dying art. Yet we can hopefully preserve it by starting today and writing to someone dear to us and it could possibly be the highlight of their day. :-)
