Pinterest is an online pinboard.
Organize and share things you love.
Things that I want to do for the apartment (when we do finally get one), and a few other DIY projects.
I'd love to do this in my living room. I'm a little worried about how to balance it out, though.

Imagine how many different designs you could make with freaking rubber bands?!
I never would have thought of using chalk to absorb grease stains on clothing.
Remove tough stains by covering with toothpaste, let dry, then spray bleach. Let set for some time, depending on the stain, then wipe or gently scrub off.

This just gave me an awesome idea for when Mike and I get our own place: get a two-bedroom, and convert the second bedroom into a double office. Space for me to write and sew, and space for him to draw and diorama!

I want to adapt this into a standalone closet for myself, since Mike and I are currently sharing a dresser, and my hung clothes are in various spots throughout the house.

I need a new dresser, and may just have to turn to Craigslist for now... Even if I don't, this may come in handy.
You could even easily do this if you don't own your home; just buy a removable wall sticker, some 3M wall hooks, spray paint the hooks to match the wall sticker, and voila!

This gives me an idea. Black does NOT have to be depressing.
This would be really cool for my office; it could easily double as a sewing table and writing station.
I love carpentry. I think I inherited that from my dad. I'm pinning this because when Mike and I get our own place, you'd better believe I'll be making some furniture!
These look super easy and would dress up any tee shirt and jeans outfit.

Homemade heating pads hold heat for a really long time, and you can fall asleep with them without worrying about electrical fires.
