Carolyn M The side-bonus to this: your hat will forever smell faintly of Kool-Aid. I know. :)
Chrystal Vaughan I've done this a lot, make sure to rinse well or you will end up all colory!
Cassie Shea @Sandra Royalty that's a sticky mess! Poor poodle
Katelynn Marques I did that with my poodle when I was a kid-half pink, half blue! It's a safe non-toxic dye and it's not sticky if you rinse with a tiny bit of shampoo (it never did wash out-it had to grow out!).
Bee Talmadge I bet a @Kellie Virnich would like this.

Elsie Larson Jana, I don't know... probably. I was thinking about keeping it on my porch.
Lindsey Domanico I made one this past summer for my balcony and it was super fun! You don't have to use landscape fabric, I used an old shower curtain and it worked great!
Jola Well, I think I'll just have to try it using some succulent plants - I'm a little afraid of the water+carpet combination. ;)
Laura Here's another option. This was my shoe holder garden from last year. Plan to do it again this year! http://pinterest.com/pin/58...
Caiti Griffin I did this last year and it went really well. We did flowers in different colors and made it a rainbow garden. We used burlap sacks (from the local coffee roastery) instead of landscaping fabric.

Erin Carriker I did that with a wire hanger and yarn over my bed...so cute, but takes a while :)
Rachael Robertson you could probably do it with pipe cleaner and fabric scraps for a more patterned look and it would go quicker.

For all those old shirts you still want to use, but not wear. Just cut the sleeves and neck then stitch the bottom closed.
