Mix a paste of baking soda and lemon juice. The consistency of the paste should be about that of pancake mix. Spread the paste all along the bottom of the toilet (where it meets the floor), the toilet seat, and any other area that gets a lot of overspray. Let it set for about 10-15 minutes. Then spray the dried paste with white vinegar. Let it fizzle. When done fizzing wipe up with a damp cloth. Don't forget about the walls and cupboards on either side of the toilet.

GENIUS!!! "Each member of the family has a mesh lingerie laundry bag, and a hook. They put their dirty socks in the bag each night. Then when it's full, you wash the whole mesh zipped up bag, and give it back! No more sorting through and figuring out which socks are for which person!" and no more lost socks
water wall - what kid doesn't love to play with water. Using and old pallet and some bottles from the recycle bin...even better

Good old Martha taught us that rather than buying those ridiculously expensive anti-slip mats for a rug, just turn it over and run a few lines of acrylic-latex caulk every 6 inches or so. Let dry and flip over and your rug wont be going anywhere!
