Use apple slicer to quickly cut up potatoes for mashed potatoes or fries. That's a great idea, I have an apple slicer and I never thought to use it for this!

Perfectly cooked, shaped eggs - and you can bake a whole lot simultaneously: Just grab a muffin tin and and very lightly oil each spot in the tin with either butter or spray oil (I used a very small amount of butter on a paper towel.) Then crack an egg in each muffin area! Stick these in a 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes.

Amazing, I had no idea! A standard mason jar will fit most blenders, turning it into a single-serve magic bullet type of contraption. Tried it this morning - worked like a charm! Obviously don't use with hot liquids, as the steam has nowhere to escape, but for cold smoothes = magic! :)
