Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains. Sounds easy enough.

Great all-natural cleaner. Don't worry, after the solution dries it doesn't smell like vinegar. Great for stainless steel, glass, counters, etc :-)

Katie Emrich I have the more fabricy kind, so I'm wondering if that will be a hinder or a help. Guess we'll see!
Another Pinner said: I just tried this - I will NEVER buy Comet, Soft Scrub, etc again. Used in the tub - sprayed on, left for about 1/2 hr - wiped down like nothing there. it is sparkling!...Worth a shot!

Emily Kate @ Second Story Window This is my new shower spray! With a scrubby brush, it works great without too much elbow grease.
Katie Emrich I'm hoping it will do the trick on our preformed tub. I hate how the textured bottom gets so grungy and it's hard to get the walls of the shower clean too.
Emily Kate @ Second Story Window We have the textured bottom on our tub too and that's exactly where I thought this spray worked best. I still had to run the brush over it and the first time I did the spray twice, but still it was easier and better than anything else I'd tried for that. Hope it works for you too!
Katie Emrich Great to know! Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely going to give this a try.
DIY Wrinkle Release Spray. This is definitely worth a shot.

Katie Emrich Actually did this. Worked pretty well. Not sure how much money you actually save. Equate makes some awesome wipes for pretty darn cheap. I think Viva towels would be even better.

Fetching pins…
Becky Andrews I tried this on a bunch of shirts this week and saw no difference. My recipe didn't have baking soda. Maybe I didn't rub hard enough. I was bummed.
