When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria on the surface. Raspberries will last a week or more, and strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.

TIP FOR KEEPING BERRIES FROM GOING MOLDY!! When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted I find you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit, and voila! Raspberries will last a week or more, and I've had strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft. >> Brilliant!

Shower activity for a girl... Such a great idea! Now, who's having a baby girl??
Homemade Baby Wipes What you need: a round plastic container with a tight-fitting lid, thick, strong roll of white paper towels, Sharp, serrated knife to cut paper towel roll in half, 2 cups water that has been boiled and cooled to room temperature, 2 Tbsp. baby shampoo or baby wash, 1 Tbsp. baby oil What to do: First, cut your paper towel roll in half and remove the inner cardboard tube. Then mix your liquid ingredients in container and place one of the paper towel halves inside, cut side down (save the other half for the next time you need to make wipes). Place the cover on the container and turn the container upside down. Keep it upside down until the paper towels are soaked through. Open the container. Pull the cardboard center out of the paper towels and "start" your roll by pulling a towel from the center of the roll.
