Askale Martin I just looked at this pattern this morning. I love it with or without the ruffles.
Erica Bunker I made it with the ruffles when it first came out. The bodice is boned and if you fit it correctly, you don't even need a bra. It's really a great pattern to have.

Liz Cadorette I loved this pattern, too - in fact reviewing your post it looks like we want many of the same ones! But I think I'd end up adding a good half inch to the neckline all the way around the front, tapering to the shoulder. I think there's so little fabric at the underarm "hinge" there, that's why it buckles.
