Sauerkraut crock--Grandma's sister gathered her family annually to make loads and loads and loads of sauerkraut. Each had a job...washing cabbage, chopping cabbage, stuffing the crocks, adding other ingredients, carrying crocks to dark basement to ferment. Months later they gathered to share the sauerkraut, which was perfect to eat with huge pork roasts and potatoes.
