plant ceremony, instead of the typical unity candle. There was a potted miniature lemon tree, along with 2 small pots filled with soil from each of their parents’ gardens and a pitcher of water. The tree represented their new life together as husband and wife – they will grow together as their tree grows! The soil from each parents’ gardens represented combining their families. Kelly + Curtis poured both pots of soil in the main pot. Then their Pastor poured in the water, which represented their spirituality and the important role that their faith will play in their marriage and life together. Such a lovely idea!
