Tomales Bay. Another excellent place for kayak camping. See Point Reyes National Seashore for camping.
One of my favorite water places. Great for kayak camping in early June, when the golden eagles are nesting nearby, catching trout in the lake to feed their chicks.

California Condors... One of the many amazing sights to see in Big Sur.
Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur. Very nice timelapse video of the view! Great place for cocktails, but I have never stayed overnight here.
