Image by David Beckstead Best Shot 2002. I have had a ton of amazing response to this shot. I show the color version to brides but I show the more abstract b version to photographers. The shadow lines really pull you in. I used it a ton in my marketing and it was the lead-in image for my second version of my website.

Expressive Photographics Yes it's all TRUE!
Sometimes HDR is a good thing in wedding photography... This was one of those times.
Cool shot. This looks like SF City Hall, where I have photographed a few weddings. Nice idea for a future shoot!

This Image by David Beckstead, is a perfect example of why I love to do a "Day After" photo session with my brides and grooms, when I have the opportunity. It would be great if I had that opportunity more aften! See more of David's great work at: www.facebook.com/...

Expressive Photographics It is possible that this photo was created on an actual wedding assignment, but I think it's probably from one of the workshops, taught by photographer, David Beckstead.
Expressive Photographics So, what's great about a "Day After" or "Day Before" photo session with your brides & grooms?... Time. That essential element that is often in short supply on a real wedding shoot. The day after session gives you QUALITY TIME with your photographer... time to get creative and make amazing images.
Spotted my photo on the cover of Central Coast Bride magazine at our local bookstore in Santa Cruz. Cool!!!

Expressive Photographics A favorite tidbit from the interview: Q: How many images do you average per wedding and how many do you usually present to your clients? A; I shoot between 2500 and 3000 on average. I typically deliver around 600 finished images.
