Rub Petroleum Jelly on the skin around your nails before polishing. If you make a mistake it can be wiped off when your nails are dry and it softens cuticles at the same time. Need to try!!!!

New way to do "French Tip" style. Stretch a rubberband across the nail. It pulls the skin back too, so I don't get the nail polish everywhere and it's less time consuming than putting on stickers or tape on every finger.

Ah... these are called "Scotch Tape Rays". Under the black is another coat of sparkle green. Remove tape ASAP after top color is painted and VOILA, perfect lines. @http://chloesnails.blogspot.com/2011/01/ask-and-you-shall-receive.html
