Indoor Roller Skating. The best birthday parties were birthday parties at indoor roller rinks. The blasting of the latest tunes and eating junk food while skating in circles was a great combination.

Garbage Can-dy - Sweet-Tart type candy shaped like bones, fish, old sneakers, bottles, and empty soup cans packaged in tiny plastic garbage cans. I always saved my garbage cans to use with my Barbies.

CRANK CALLS: Since we had limited options for entertainment, making prank calls (we used to call them "crank calls" for some reason) to unsuspecting people in the phone book was a very acceptable way to spend ones saturday afternoon.

Q H I do this now to make books on my shelves look pretty. I use all kinds of scrapbook and wrapping paper. Learned it in school like you.
