The Story of My Experiments with Truth. You can read it here as a pdf: d3vilsheaven.com/... some quotes from the book: "When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall — think of it, always." "What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?" "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." "There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no causes that I am prepared to kill for."

this is a story about a girl who rescued a dog (who later went blind). the first day she got her she had her on a leash most of the time but let her off the leash to sniff and play around. when she called her name "mia" the dog turned and looked at her. the girl could see that she was making a decision. mia decided to run away. the girl was heartbroken, sad and mad. she chased her for 30 minutes and got her back to the car. it was at that time she felt God "spoke" to her and said this is what you do to Me. I have been here all the time and calling you but you choose to run away. she realized then that she didn't save mia but mia saved her...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the city living style. Maybe it's from living in Chicago and growing up in that area. This is one of my favorite styles. Eclectic with some vintage yet still modern at the same time. Love it!
