Anne Davis I'm just saying - that's where wool comes from and that's how they get it.
Megan Cartlidge Ok, First little lambs arnt sheared. It is the adult sheep who are sheared. Second, shearing is a painless experience for most all sheep. The only time they are cut is when the shearer is still learning how. Cutting the sheep also reduces what the shearer is paid, so they learn fast.Third, shearing is better for the sheep's health. The wool will fall out enventually but in the mean time long wool catches poop, thorns, fungus and sometimes bugs. Wool also makes it hard for new born lambs to find their first warm meal. Even if the wool wasn't worth anything the sheep would really want to be sheared, so I think people should enjoy wearing wool.
Lauren Growall No animals are harmed in the acquiring of wool.
Karen Garnica thank you Megan!
Anne Davis Sorry, you're right - animals are not harmed (that much) in ACQUIRING the wool. It's not the shearing but the mulesing that is a cruel practice. Skin is sliced from the buttocks of lambs without anaesthetic to produce a scar free of wool, faecal/urine stains, and skin wrinkles. You can read more about it here: http://www.animalsaustralia...
simply cute.

Ely St Cyr If the jeans are flared and the boots are high... do you wear the boots over or under the jeans??
FeeFee,RN Ely- I'd wear skinny jeans to make this outfit work- and the boots over. These babies are too nice to hide. :)
