Could you imagine a world without tigers???? Today, only about 3,000 tigers remain in the wild. Up to four times as many are kept as private pets in the US alone. Over triple the number left in their natural habitat are locked up in Asia’s “tiger farms”, where they are used in money-making public performances and are later harvested for their highly valuable organs.

Rosemary L. This is an incredible shot - the angle is so unique and the clouds in the sky really add dramatic flair. Thanks for sharing! My question is, HOW did you get that cheetah to sit for that? hahaha!
Vladimir Putin holds a five-year-old tiger’s head as scientists put on a collar with a satellite tracker on the animal in the academy of sciences Ussari reserve in Russia’s far east, August 31, 2008. Mr Putin apparently saved a TV crew when, just as he was arriving to see a trapped Amur tiger, it escaped and ran towards the camera crew and he shot it with a tranquilliser gun. www.abc.net.au/ne...

The Caracal is sometimes called a "Persian Lynx" or "African Lynx". It's a medium-sized wild cat which is usually labelled a small cat, but is amongst the heaviest and fastest of all small cats in the wild.

Amanda The most beautiful place a leopard print could be.
wow. these beautiful animal skins would look so much better the live healthy animal than under any human's feet. no wonder why so many species are still vulnerable and on the verge of extinction in this day and age. the greed of man will destroy us.

About: The caracal is an elegant cat with short reddish-brown fur on the back and sides. The chin and throat and underside are white. The caracal has distinctive long black ears with white at the ear base, and long tufts of black fur at the tips. Caracals are found in woodland, savannah, scrub forests. Caracals use abandoned burrows, rock crevices or dense vegetation for their dens. Caracals are carnivorous and prey on birds, rodents, and small antelopes. They stalk their prey before pouncing upon it. Caracals sometimes store remains of prey in tree forks or dense shrubs for later feeding. Found: Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and more.
