Adrian B. I have such mixed feelings about these. As @Julia Frickert mentions, insulation. Wide mouth jars probably won't fit in a cupholder. They cost 8 freaking dollars. I can get behind just adding a lid to something I already have to make a travel mug, and I can get behind them more of they don't leak, which they probably won't.
Jess Fig & Plum all true, but i still enjoy simple gadgets like this. as a non-driver, the cupholder thing is something i never considered. i don't know whether it leaks, but assuming not . . . i'm a sucker for anything that helps me not dribble all over my shirt.
