Must remember this when Christmas comes around. Candy sleighs! What a cute idea for small gifts :) I guess you could also add small bars of soap or handkerchiefs or other non-food items too.

Candy creations ~ Nested in a pile of faux snow, glass vases overflow with red-and-white candies and candy-theme ornaments. Red foam letters (found at crafts stores) inside each vase to spell out joy.
Use a toilet paper roll as a filler! Why did i never think of that? Maybe even wrap the toilet paper roll in foil to match the bulbs.

I created a last minute advent calendar using No. 6 coin envelopes, the artwork from last year's Christmas cards, ribbons, sparkly jewels and buttons. Glued the artwork to the front of the envelope, strung a ribbon up and around the railings on the staircase and affixed them using a clothespin after stuffing them with goodies! Must do this next year.
