Debbi Otterson sometimes it takes years to understand the lesson and repeated lessons but life will continue to give you the same thing to learn until you get it.
Beth Reedy Leslie, sometimes I find that the lessons are ours to actually "know" or be able to articulate. It may also be that it just strengthened a previously learned lesson so that the experience from that particular situation doesn't stand on its own. However, it doesn't mean that the lessons still aren't with us.
