Brazil nut pod (bertholletia excelsa). The nuts come in a cluster inside a pod. You don't want to be underneath when one of these drops to the ground, I promise. The harvest which usually comes in December/January depends on the volume of rain in August in the middle of the dry season. No rain - no nuts!
