These are by far the best sausage balls ever made. What makes these sausage balls so good? Well, the secret ingredient is cream cheese. The cream cheese keeps the sausage balls very moist and tender. We used hot sausage to give the sausage balls a little kick, but regular sausage would work well too. Bring these to your next tailgate party - you won't be sorry! Cream Cheese Sausage Balls (Printable Recipe) 1 lb hot sausage, uncooked 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 1/4 cups Bisquick 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded Preheat oven to 400F. Mix biscuit mix, milk, and cheddar cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley; brush generously over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Make 10-12 biscuits.

Ms. Humble's Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting (Can and should be halved for more modest portions) 16oz cream cheese, room temperature 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup heavy cream, cold. Higher the fat content, the better (I'm using 40% Ultra) Beat the cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream to nearly stiff peaks, then add the whipped cream into the cheese mixture and quickly and briefly beat to combine. Do not over beat.
