{My Kitchen Table} This morning I walked into the kitchen and realized I had pretty much taken it over with my art lately but the colors and chaos still put a smile on my face. I can't imagine not living life as a Creative.

I named this doll Delphine and find her captivating. She will be worked into my The Unforgettable Adventures of Found Baby Project as a doll living with the effects of chemo and losing her hair. Photographing her was a delight.

Tried my hand out using the Creative Kit on Google+ for this shot. It would lend itself to some interesting profile shots for sure. I do like the contrast, especially with the texture in the photo which is what I was shooting for using my Galaxy Nexus.

Gail Rogers Ardith. Question. What do you use to "set" pencil drawings so they don't rub off?
Ardith Goodwin I actually use Kamar Varnish, which is a varnish for watercolors, because it doesn't apply to heavy and the paper remains matte. There is a spray to set graphite, but Kamar works great for me.
