When we were "courting" in the early 1960's, my husband and I began exchanging Happiness Books. These were little books of special memories we shared - and we created them for each other by hand -- we did not have computers or digital cameras to help in those days! The idea came from Charlie Brown's Happiness Is book. I honestly cannot remember which one of us made the first one. I do know the books are a treasure now, carefully bound with rubber bands and stored for safe keeping. Creating a happiness book is a gift of love. Is there someone in your life who deserves a happiness book from you right now? PS - Yes, I got a Happiness Book for Christmas 2010 -- even more special because my hubby is now legally blind and the book has no pictures but is filled with his large print notes of our memories for the past few years! What a treasure!
