Juneau in winter. Alas, not the summer view at all, especially with cruise ships leaving long before the sun sets (near midnight).
Juneau. I can't wait to see it. The photographer is right, though; why so many cars (and traffic jams) in a city of 30,000 with no roads connecting it to the rest of the world?

Bears at Katmai National Park. (Nothing we'll see on our cruise, but still inspiring.)
This a view of our next ship (Norwegian Pearl) from the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle. As someone who likes for embarkation day to be as calm and easy as possible, seeing this makes me *really* want to stay at the Edgewater. (It's also a rather gorgeous property. Alas, have you seen the prices? But-but - the Beatles stayed there! And fished from the balcony! Sigh.)
Inn at the Market, Seattle. Located at Pike's Place, I mostly want to stay here because not having to deal with public transportation or possibly dodgy walks makes me happy.

Goldfish at Hotel Monaco, Seattle. Our cruise leaves from Seattle, so I'm trying to narrow down the hotel choices. Perhaps this is our chance to finally stay at one of those Kimpton hotels where they provide you with a pet fish for your stay?

Craigdarroch Castle or Butchart Gardens? We're only in Victoria for a few hours in the evening... I'm thinking Gardens? But this looks so neat, too.
When we go to Skagway, I'd like to do the tour with the one-way ride on the White Pass Railway followed by a visit to the Yukon Suspension Bridge.

Seattle -> Inside Passage -> Juneau -> Skagway -> Glacier Bay -> Ketchikan -> Victoria... I'm counting the months!
