take an old thrift store painting, tape out a message, and paint over with a solid color- Bet it would work better if you used letter stickers :)

Chandelier turned into a serving center. Or use it as a chandelier with candles (could work outside, too).

Susan Yonas 50 some years ago, I had an old chifferobe which had been my father's as a child and this is exactly how I used it: a wonderful 4 story doll house for my Barbies.
Turn an old dresser into this fabulous dress-up closet. I can't even imagine a better way to display such a fun toy room staple.

Fetching pins…
Laura Buxbaum Landry @Daranee this would be good for all of those baby wipe containers you use.
Beth Seeber Great idea, but those aren't wipe boxes - they're from IKEA. We use them to store homemade baby food cubes.
RST Rachel Trindle The ikea boxes are significantly smaller than wipes boxes. They're also nice in that the bottoms have little feet that nest into the indentations on the tops, making stacking more stable.
